Mr. Cooper
Buying a home is incredibly stressful. Nationstar decided it was time to fix that, so they reinvented their whole business model in a quest for complete transparency. They became Mr.Cooper, a name inspired by the idea of a neighborhood banker who wanted to do right by his customers.
After the campaign was sold, I was lucky enough to get called in by Phenomenon to help develop Mr. Cooper’s brand voice. As one of the co-writers, I focused on the initial website and the brand book. Here’s a small collection of the work the team produced. And today, Mr. Cooper is still alive and well.

BRAND BOOK
The goal of the Phenomenon team was to make sure every element reflected the values, tone, and personality of the Mr. Cooper brand. Copy, design, photography, illustration, type, you name it. Nothing was left to chance, and writing the book to explain the rules was a great lesson in branding and a lot of fun.
